Annual Meeting of Members

The Annual Meeting of Members of GuideOne Mutual Holding Company is held each year to update members on the company's performance and elect individuals to the Board of Directors. A member is any active policyholder of GuideOne Insurance Company or GuideOne Specialty Insurance Company (as stated on the policy's declaration page).

Active policyholders who had either a GuideOne Insurance Company or a GuideOne Specialty Insurance Company policy in effect on Feb. 21, 2025 (the date of record established by the Board of Directors) are eligible to vote. Members who are eligible to vote but will not be in attendance at the Annual Meeting of Members on May 1, 2025, are encouraged to submit a proxy ballot by April 17, 2025.

Yes, members who are eligible to vote may attend the meeting in person at GuideOne’s Home Office in West Des Moines, Iowa. Members will be asked to verify their GuideOne policy upon arrival.

No, we are not accepting candidate nominations at this time. If you would like to nominate a candidate for the 2026 Board of Directors election, please contact the Corporate Secretary to ask about the requirements.
