Annual Meeting of Members

GuideOne Mutual Holding Company holds a meeting of its members on an annual basis. The meeting is open to all active members – policyholders of GuideOne Insurance Company or GuideOne Specialty Insurance Company, as stated on the policy's declaration page, who are eligible to vote. During the Annual Meeting of Members, members will hear a report on the company’s performance and may vote for candidates for the company's Board of Directors. Members who are eligible to vote but will not be in attendance at the Annual Meeting of Members on May 2, 2024, are encouraged to submit a proxy form by April 18, 2024.

Insureds who have either a GuideOne Insurance Company or a GuideOne Specialty Insurance Company policy in effect on the day of February 22, 2024, the date of record established by the Board of Directors of GuideOne Mutual Holding Company.

Yes, eligible members may attend the meeting in person at GuideOne’s Home Office in West Des Moines, Iowa. Members will be asked to verify their GuideOne policy upon arrival. Only members who are eligible to vote will be able to attend the meeting.

No, we are not accepting candidate nominations at this time. If you would like to nominate a candidate for the 2025 Board of Directors election, please contact the Corporate Secretary to ask about the requirements.
